Better4Kenya #16tozero Social Media Toolkit

In Kenya, 45% of women over 15 have experienced physical violence and the COVID-19 pandemic is exacerbating this crisis. Gender-based violence (GBV) will continue to be a harmful cause and effect of gender inequality unless we demand change.

This year starting on November 25th, during the annual 16 Days of Activism campaign, Better4Kenya is launching #16toZero to raise awareness and demand zero tolerance for GBV. #16toZero is designed to showcase the breadth of the GBV crisis: it’s not just one issue, it impacts every aspect of our lives, and therefore we all have a role to play to end it. Use this social media toolkit to plan your campaign.
