It has been a busy month. Working in partnership with Amref, the Youth Advocacy Project recently launched the Youth Advocacy Registration Portal. The portal is an exciting tool that will help us address the needs raised by young people in Kenya. It maps the number of youth and youth-led organisations involved in conducting advocacy activities in different regions and what they are working on. We believe the portal will be critical in supporting the consortium to design capacity strengthening initiatives across Kenya and foster collaboration across youth organisations and networks on youth-identified priorities.
The Youth Advocacy Project is jointly implemented by Amref Health Africa and the Advocacy Accelerator to support youth advocacy for sexual and reproductive health and rights in Kenya. As of 26th February 2018, there were over 1,993 youth who had registered and 465 youth-led organisations.
