Women are vital to the advancement of global health, making up 75% of the healthcare workforce – yet occupying less than 25% of influential leadership positions.
Building on last year’s hugely successful inaugural event at Stanford University, USA, the 2018 conference will:
1) highlight emerging and established women leaders in global health
2) engage in the latest thought leadership on advancing women in global health
3) support mentoring and skills building opportunities
4) support women in all forms of leadership from local communities to global organisations, from science to politics
Attendees will hear from leading women on some of the most urgent health issues facing the world today, including humanitarian crises, non-communicable diseases, and environmental health and climate change.
