We are delighted to inform you that the next UK-East African Healthcare Summit will be held in Uganda on 22nd- 23rd March 2018, This will be in close collaboration with our key strategic partners including British Medical Journal , British Medical Association, Uganda Diaspora Health Foundation, the Uganda Ministry of Health and Uganda UK Health Alliance. This summit will bring together large delegations of government officials, Diaspora members, policymakers, education, medical researchers and development institutions, senior hospital directors & CEOs.
The event will have a strong emphasis to North- South and South-South learning/ co development in Health.
The Chief Guest of the occasion will be Minister of Health Uganda, Hon Dr Jane Aceng.
The Health Summit will also be supported by Lord Dollar Popat ( UK trade Envoy to Uganda and Rwanda) , Hon Jaffer Kapasi ( Business Consular Uganda), Lord Nigel Crisp, Co-Chair, All Party Parliamentary Group on Global Health. East African Medical Diasporas and High Commissioners for Kenya , Uganda and Tanzania to UK ,
Many other high level delegates will be invited to join the health development campaign so that we can further strengthen health care sector in East Africa.
