An advanced course in SRHR on tried and tested methodologies from the field. Highlighting the increasing need for new approaches when addressing the shrinking space at the global and local level. The course is conducted in collaboration with the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), UN Inter-Agency Task Force on Religion and Development.
The purpose of the course is to deepen the participants’ knowledge and understanding on SRHR programming. The course will demonstrate highly effective methodologies that have been both developed and tested in the field. These methodologies have tackled religious, cultural, political and legal frameworks that can all negatively impact the realisation of SRHR. The course will specifically also look at how to more effectively target religious stakeholders for greater impact within SRHR interventions. This course assumes a grounding in SRHR for its participants.
