The 63rd session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW63) will take place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 11 to 22 March 2019. Member States and civil society organizations from around the world will attend the biggest annual gathering focused on women’s rights. This year, the theme focuses on: Social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.
UN Women is calling on all youth to exercise their leadership, activism and power in demanding accountability, asking governments to make a commitment to ensure that social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure address the needs and priorities of young people in all their diversity.
