Technical Assistant Providers (contract)

The Advocacy Accelerator seeks to disrupt traditional models of advocacy work and build an inclusive advocacy ecosystem that values peer-to-peer learning, homegrown knowledge from the African experience, wisdom sharing, and aptitude development. As an African initiative, the Accelerator responds to the African context by supporting African-led solutions while at the same time being inclusive of global best practices in advocacy and campaigning, innovation, and learning from partners and allies across the world. The organization recognizes and works towards realizing greater health, equity, and social justice as a part of a wider global movement.

Job Description
We invite applications from suitable Technical Assistant (TA) providers in the field of advocacy, who are passionate about strengthening local advocacy capacity for grassroots, national, regional advocates and advocacy organizations in Francophone Africa.

Requirements
i. Excellent communication skills
ii. Fluent in French (oral and written) – mandatory
iii. 3 years of experience facilitating capacity strengthening in French in the areas of:
• Monitoring & Evaluation for Advocacy

• Mental Health for Advocacy

• Knowledge Management for Advocacy

• Feminist Advocacy and

• Advocacy 101 (basics)

iv. Expertise or background in the areas mentioned
v. Knowledge of AAC and its operations will be advantageous
vi. Excellent reporting skills

Duties
1. Conduct virtual/physical capacity strengthening sessions in French (on contract basis
2. Prepare up to date training materials that suit the training needs
3. Prepare post training reports.
