Global survey to inform volume 2 of WHO Consolidated Guideline on self-care interventions for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR)

Welcome and introduction

The World Health Organisation (WHO), Department of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Research (SRH) is expanding the evidence-base of its existing global normative guidance around self-care interventions for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Current examples include: over the counter contraceptives; HPV (human papillomavirus) self-sampling, and HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) self-testing.

This WHO guideline is: (1) grounded in a human rights-based approach that is people-centred and evidence driven; (2) addresses the needs of people across the life course from adolescence through to older ages; and (3) includes the preferences, reasons and priorities of people who use or promote self-care interventions for health.

We would like to invite you to participate in this online survey. It will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete and participation is completely voluntary, anonymous and confidential. The survey includes questions about your experiences, preferences and access regarding self-care interventions for SRHR.
