The Southern Africa Trust is inviting you to its third dialogue in the series Roadmap to COP27: From Johannesburg to Sharma El-Sheikh.
This dialogue will convene young people from southern Africa to discuss the impact of climate change on livelihoods in future. It will also present them with an opportunity to make recommendations to African leaders, reinforcing their role in the planning, global negotiations, and discussions at national, regional and international levels.
Discussion Topics:
• Assessment of the impact of climate change on the youth population in Africa
• The role of the youth in shaping the policy discourse on climate change at the national, regional, and international level.
• We will share regional experiences on youth advocacy and coordination activities on climate justice
• Make policy recommendations inserting youth priorities ahead of COP27
