The 71st World Health Assembly (WHA71) will be held in Geneva, at the World Health Organisation Headquarters, between 21–26 May 2018.The main functions of the Assembly are to determine the policies of the Organization, supervise financial policies, and review and approve the proposed programme budget. The assembly is often attended by delegations from all 194 WHO Member States and focuses on a specific health agenda prepared by the Executive Board. This year, Zimbabwe has been elected to chair the meeting.
