Csw Virtual Parallel Event

This is a video of the CSW Virtual Parallel event that took place on 15th March, 2022. It was a discussion with Young Feminist Advocates working on Challenging Patriarchy in Africa. The session was a moderated panel discussion where 4 young feminist advocates working in the African ecosystem shared their experience participating in global and regional advocacy processes. The aim was to highlight challenges to effective and meaningful engagement of the grassroot feminist and women movements in such processes and make a call- to- action to various stakeholders including member states and to reprioritize and refund advocacy capacity strengthening programmes.
