Roxana Manda

My name is Roxana Manda from Malawi. I am an advocacy accelerator and communications fellow. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism obtained from the University of Malawi, The Polytechnic currently known as Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). I am passionate about media and communication as I want to reach out to the rural masses on issues affecting their communities and how they can be addressed, in short, I love communication for development.

What I hope to achieve while in the AAC

I hope to learn new skills from other experienced AAC members and also share and use my skills in communication such as writing stories in my work as an AAC fellow.

What I hope to achieve after the internship

I am looking forward to gaining more experience in communication as I will mostly be involved in posting and sharing things on different social media platforms and websites, so it is a chance for me to explore and learn other media platforms being used in the AAC. This will in turn open a door for me for other greater opportunities after this fellowship.
