Brian Nyamache

Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Fellow

My name is Brian Nyamache from Kenya, I am the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) Fellow. I graduated from Kenyatta University with my bachelor’s degree, majoring in Public Policy.

What I hope to achieve while in the AAC

As a MERL fellow, I am very keen on ensuring that I gain and enhance my knowledge of the different tools, techniques, and approaches within the international development space for evaluating policy and advocacy efforts.

What I hope to achieve after the internship

First of all, this is a good opportunity for me as I will get to work on meaningful and impactful projects and assignments geared towards driving great advocacy impact across grassroots and national levels in Africa. Through this, I hope to stretch and grow. Additionally, I look forward to building long-lasting relationships and networks, and lastly, I believe that through mentorship and guidance from senior colleagues, I will be able to hone my skills and build my career.
