The application process for side events and exhibitions, to be held at the margins of the 2022 HLPF, is now open! All side events and exhibits will be held virtually. The deadline for submission of applications will be Tuesday, 31 May 2022.

Major Groups and other Stakeholders wishing to organize a side event during the 2022 HLPF can submit their applications using the guidelines and criteria found on the HLPF website: https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/hlpf#hlpf2022

Side Events and Exhibitions can be sponsored by Member States, the UN system, intergovernmental organizations, the Major Groups and other Stakeholders and accredited Non-governmental Organizations including those with special consultative status. Please note that in view of the large number of requests anticipated, and taking into consideration the very limited time allotted for the Side Events and Exhibitions, requests should be limited to ONE per entity and in line with the Guidelines.

We ask all interested organizers to be flexible as to the format and timing of their proposed side event and exhibition as they cannot be held in parallel to the main meeting of the HLPF. After reviewing the applications, the HLPF Secretariat will inform ALL organizers on the status of their events by mid-June 2022.
