SEMA Reproductive Health is a newly launched organization that is trying to redesign how the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) field approaches market shaping to be more country- and consumer-oriented. It is being incubated at Amref (HQ in Nairobi) for the first few years with staff located in different African countries. The organization is looking for a Communications Officer (link to apply embedded) to develop and drive a communications strategy and set of activities to help advance SEMA’s mission. The ideal candidate has experience designing and managing communications strategies and campaigns in global health (preferably SRH) working with various stakeholders (governments, funders, implementation organizations) and must speak French and English. The position can be located in Nairobi or another Africa location (if the individual does not need work sponsorship and is willing to travel). Since it’s a new organization, there is a clean slate for someone creative and entrepreneurial who enjoys designing from scratch.
