The African Humanitarian and Development Summit will be taking place from 20 to 22 June 2018 in Nairobi, Kenya. The theme for this year’s summit is ‘Rethinking Humanitarian Action and Sustainable Development – From Outputs to Outcomes’.

The aim of the discussion is to engage in an analytical overview of Africa’s humanitarian actions and development processes and roadmap to date in order to highlight the successes registered and the challenges encountered so as to chart a way forward. The discussion will focus on the key areas of climate change, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the private sector and how they impact on the economy.
