Created by Africa Grantmakers’ Affinity Group (AGAG), the report examines Africa funders’ grantmaking priorities, how their organisations structure their funding focused on Africa, the role of collaboration in their funding, potential impediments to achieving their goals, and the overall outlook for funding. Findings are based on the responses to a 2018-2019 survey of Africa funders primarily based in North America, as well as in Africa and other regions.
