The Launch of the Pan-African Multilateral Partnership on Climate Change and Health

May 23, 2022

Monday 23rd May @ 17:30-19:00 Central African Time
Online and in-person at the InterContinental Geneva

Amref Health Africa in partnership with other organisations in health and climate is inviting you to a World Health Assembly side event which aims to bring together leaders from multiple countries in Africa to generate high level conversation, debate and political solutions to boost progress in the global efforts to adapt and mitigate against climate change effects on universal health coverage with women and youth at the centre.

If you will already be in Geneva for the World Health Assembly, we invite you to join the event in-person at the InterContinental Geneva. If you will not be in Geneva, we encourage you to join us online.

With the major UN climate meeting (COP27) taking place in Egypt this year, it is an especially important time for health and climate leaders in Africa to come together. We are delighted to support Amref Health Africa’s inspiring leadership and we hope this event will be the beginning of further conversations and collaborations to protect health for all.

Please register to attend the event using the zoom registration page.
There is a tickbox at the bottom of the form to indicate whether you will be attending in-person or online. Unfortunately, event organizers cannot provide travel support at this time. Please only select the in-person option if you will already be in Geneva for the World Health Assembly.
