Esther Mayende

Esther Mayende is the Content Facilitation and Training (CFT) Fellow. She graduated from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology with a degree in Community Health and Development.

What do you hope to achieve while in the AAC?

I hope to learn from the experienced professionals at the AAC, explore my career path and sharpen my skills in advocacy. This fellowship is an opportunity to network and form valuable connections and also, to gain confidence in job skills before transitioning into the job market. Lastly, I hope to learn, improve and apply new skills.

What do you hope to achieve after the internship?

I hope to gain valuable work experience through my day-to-day duties, including computer skills and other transferable skills. The networks and valuable connections I form here should give me an edge as I transition into the job market.
